ADORA1

ADORA1 is a receptor for adenosine, ubiquitously expressed throughout the body. Activation of ADORA1 inhibits adenylate cyclase, leading to a decrease in cAMP concentration. ADORA1 is implicated in sleep promotion by inhibiting wake-promoting cholinergic neurons in the basal forebrain, and adenosine antagonists are widely used in neonatal medicine. Our ADORA1 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP and β-arrestin assays to support your drug discovery programs.
