CCK2R (Cholecystokinin-2 Receptor, also known as CCK-B or gastrin receptor) is a Protein Coding gene encoding a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) of the rhodopsin-like family, widely expressed in the CNS and gastrointestinal tract. Its natural ligands cholecystokinin (CCK) and gastrin mediate gastric acid secretion, anxiety and pain regulation, appetite control and cell proliferation, and its overexpression in gastric, pancreatic and colorectal cancers makes it a potential anti-tumor target. Our CCK2R stable cell lines have been validated in calcium mobilization assays to support your drug discovery programs.
