GPR43

GPR43 (FFAR2) is a short‑chain fatty‑acid‑sensing G‑protein‑coupled receptor that binds short‑chain fatty acids such as propionate and acetate. It is highly expressed in immune cells, intestinal epithelium and adipose tissue, regulating inflammatory response, gut homeostasis and adipocyte differentiation. The short‑chain fatty‑acid‑GPR43 axis modulates host metabolism and immune function, and represents a promising therapeutic target for metabolic and inflammatory disorders. Our GPR43 stable CHO‑K1 cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
