VPAC2 is a receptor for VIP and PACAP, widely expressed in brain and pancreatic tissues. Activation of VPAC2 stimulates adenylate cyclase, leading to an increase in cAMP concentration. VPAC2 is implicated in circadian rhythm and metabolism regulation, and VPAC2 modulators are widely investigated for metabolic disease therapeutics. Our VPAC2 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP and β-arrestin assays to support your drug discovery programs.
