CXCR2 is a GPCR widely involved in neutrophil chemotaxis, inflammatory responses and tumor microenvironment regulation. Binding to chemokines including CXCL1, CXCL2 and CXCL8/IL-8 activates Gαi, inhibiting adenylate cyclase and reducing intracellular cAMP. It participates in immune response and tissue repair, featuring a broader ligand spectrum than CXCR1 and stronger pro-angiogenic and immune-suppressive effects in inflammatory disorders and cancers, and acts as an important therapeutic target. Our CXCR2 stable CHO-K1 cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
