ADRB1

ADRB1 (β1-adrenergic receptor) is a G protein-coupled receptor predominantly expressed in the heart. Its endogenous agonists norepinephrine and epinephrine activate Gαs signaling, leading to increased intracellular cAMP. ADRB1 is a key therapeutic target in cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, heart failure and arrhythmias, and β-blockers such as metoprolol and bisoprolol are among the most widely used cardiovascular drugs worldwide. Our ADRB1 stable cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
