VPAC1

VPAC1 is a receptor for VIP and PACAP, widely expressed in immune and gastrointestinal tissues. Activation of VPAC1 stimulates adenylate cyclase, leading to an increase in cAMP concentration. VPAC1 is implicated in immune and mucosal homeostasis, and VPAC1 modulators are widely investigated for inflammatory disease therapeutics. Our VPAC1 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP and β-arrestin assays to support your drug discovery programs.
