SSTR1

SSTR1 is a receptor subtype for somatostatin, widely expressed in the brain, gastrointestinal tract and kidney. Activation of SSTR1 couples to Gαi signaling, suppressing intracellular cAMP accumulation and regulating hormone secretion, cell proliferation and tumor progression. SSTR1 is an important target for neuroendocrine and oncology drug discovery. Our SSTR1 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
