SSTR4

SSTR4 is a receptor subtype for somatostatin, widely expressed in the brain, lung and gastrointestinal tract. Activation of SSTR4 couples to Gαi signaling, suppressing intracellular cAMP accumulation and modulating neuronal activity, inflammatory response and cell proliferation. SSTR4 is an important target for neuroscience and anti‑inflammatory drug discovery. Our SSTR4 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
