CHRM5

CHRM5 is a muscarinic acetylcholine GPCR expressed in the central nervous system and pancreatic β-cells. Acetylcholine binding activates Gq/11-PLCβ signaling, triggering IP1 production and intracellular calcium mobilization. It regulates reward pathways and metabolism, serving as a target for addiction-related drug discovery. Our CHRM5 stable CHO-K1 cell lines have been validated in IP1 assays to support your drug discovery programs.
