GPR183

GPR183 (EBI2) is a Class A GPCR that binds oxysterols such as 7α,25-dihydroxycholesterol (7α,25-OHC). It mediates chemotaxis of lymphocytes, dendritic cells and macrophages to secondary lymphoid organs, and participates in immune regulation, anti-infection response and tumor progression. The 7α,25-OHC/GPR183 axis modulates innate and adaptive immunity and represents a key therapeutic target.
