GABA

GABABR is a metabotropic GABA receptor composed of GABBR1 and GABBR2 subunits, widely distributed in the central nervous system. Activation of GABABR mediates inhibitory neurotransmission. It participates in cognition, memory, circadian rhythm and neurodevelopment, and its dysfunction relates to Alzheimer’s disease, depression, anxiety and schizophrenia. Our GABABR stable cell lines are validated for cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
