GPR52 is an orphan class‑A GPCR with no confirmed endogenous ligand. It is highly expressed within the central nervous system, especially in the striatum, nucleus accumbens and prefrontal cortex. It couples to Gs protein to activate cAMP‑PKA‑CREB signaling and modulates dopamine D2 receptor‑mediated neuronal activity, participating in neuroprotection and pathological progression of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. GPR52 represents a promising therapeutic target for schizophrenia and Huntington’s disease. Our GPR52 stable CHO‑K1 cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
