C5aR1

C5aR1 (CD88) is a Protein Coding gene encoding a high-affinity G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) for the complement anaphylatoxin C5a, predominantly expressed on myeloid cells including neutrophils, monocytes and mast cells. Upon C5a binding, C5aR1 activates Gi/Gq signaling through the PI3K/MAPK pathways, driving inflammatory cascades such as neutrophil chemotaxis, oxidative burst and release of inflammatory cytokines (IL-6/TNF-α). Our C5aR1 stable cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
