HCAR1

HCAR1 (also known as GPR81) is a receptor for L-lactate, widely expressed in adipose tissue, immune cells, neurons and hepatocytes. Activation of HCAR1 couples to Gi/o protein and β-arrestin signaling, regulating lipid metabolism, immune response and neuroprotection. HCAR1 is an important target for metabolic, inflammatory and tumor drug discovery. Our HCAR1 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
