GRM2 (mGlu2) is a group II metabotropic glutamate receptor enriched in the central nervous system. Activation of GRM2 inhibits adenylate cyclase and modulates neurotransmitter release and synaptic homeostasis. It also regulates the PI3K/AKT pathway, involving nicotine response and amine transport modulation. Our GRM2 stable cell lines are validated for cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
