APJ

APLNR (APJ) is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor widely distributed in human tissues. Apelin serves as the endogenous ligand for the Apelin receptor (APLNR/APJ). The Apelin/APJ axis regulates a variety of physiological and pathological processes. Elevated Apelin expression has been observed in multiple types of cancers. Apelin/APJ modulates tumor progression by mediating biological processes such as autophagy and apoptosis, thereby regulating the proliferation, migration and invasion of tumor cells. The Apelin/APJ axis is also involved in immune response and immune regulation via signaling pathways including PI3K-AKT and ERK-MAPK. Recent studies indicate that APJ exhibits negative regulation with the immune checkpoint PD-L1.Our APLNR (APJ) stable cell lines have been validated in cAMP assays to support your drug discovery programs.
