5-HTR

5-HTR is a receptor family for serotonin (5-HT), widely expressed in the central nervous system, peripheral tissues and platelets. Activation of different 5-HTR subtypes mediates diverse downstream signaling, regulating mood, cognition, cardiovascular activity, gastrointestinal motility and pain perception. 5-HTR subtypes are important targets for neuroscience drug discovery.
